Our New Partnership With Tree Canada

Our New Partnership With Tree Canada

Climate change is a harsh reality.

Everyone needs to take action to mitigate its impact and, in the process, make the world a better and healthier place for future generations.

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Tree Canada to have enough trees planted to make our 2020 guard responses carbon neutral.

The emissions from our guard’s cars affect the environment, and the partnership with Tree Canada is one way that RSPNDR can make a difference.

Under the Grow Clean Air program, Tree Canada will conduct a formal greenhouse gas assessment of our business’s carbon emissions.

By supporting forest and wildlife habitat restoration, we will offset the 200,000 kilometers our guards drive annually.

“It’s in everyone’s interest to contribute to cleaner air, soil, and waterways,” said Mark Zimmerman, RSPNDR’s CEO. “With Tree Canada, we’re taking a positive step forward and supporting our corporate social responsibility program.”

With the support of sponsors and supporters, Tree Canada plants more than 400,000 trees a year. It operates across five regions: B.C., Prairies, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic. One specific region, all parts, or the area most in need can be selected at the time of support.

Tree Canada believes in creating positive action against climate change. The Grow Clean Air program encourages organizations to plant trees to offset greenhouse gas emissions and improve the environment.

Trees take care of carbon pollution by taking it from the air and water from the ground. They convert carbon dioxide into wood and release oxygen into the air.
